Sasona (pronounced Suh-SOH-Nuh) is a group-equity community housing cooperative. Started in 2002 by a small group of friends living at 21st Street Cooperative, Sasona provides affordable housing in a co-owned, democratically run house. Feel free to ask us what “Sasona” means, but we probably won’t tell you the truth.

· Average age of members is 30 years old, with most members between 25-35 (although we have had children and senior citizens living here)
· 17 bedrooms, 3 living rooms, 5 bathrooms, big kitchen
· 5 minute walk from great restaurants, Half Price Books, and Good Will
· Right next to several major bus routes
· 5 minute bike ride from Barton Springs and the Barton Creek Greenbelt (hiking, biking, jogging & swimming)
