CPCH currently rents two properties on West College Ave. in downtown State College. We strive to provide low-cost housing to both students and workers, despite the ever-increasing property taxes in the State College area. Along with our goals of remaining low-cost we also try to live sustainably, both for our community and the environment. We believe that a sense of community comes through living, working and sharing knowledge together. We work with and purchase from local farmers and businesses in the area, we have communal dinners five nights a week, share labor, and use a concensus-style decision making process.
