Groups of 6 people or more may pay for their whole group's registration fees using the Group Payment Form, but each individual must register, and request housing separately online at: nasco.coop/institute. This is a change from previous years, which we hope will help us collect more accurate information about Institute participants.

Diversity Congress

The Diversity Congress serves as a working group employed by identity caucuses that have established themselves at NASCO Institute. The Congress is designed to be a safe space where two elected representatives of each identity caucus can share concerns, discuss solutions, and plan action steps for bringing issues to the NASCO Board and/or the Annual General Meeting. The diversity congress will elect a chair and a co-chair who will serve 2-year and 1-year appointments respectively on the NASCO board.  

Need-based scholarships are available to provide assistance with the registration and travel expenses of participants with limited resources. Due to the limited amount of funds to be distributed, priority will be given to low-income individuals, members whose co-ops have limited resources, individuals identifying with historically underrepresented groups at Institute, and those who would not otherwise be able to attend the NASCO Institute. Travel expenses are also taken into consideration.
