Summary Job description
- Coordinate the development of CWCF's communications plan and manage implementation
- Promote and facilitate delivery of the various services offered by CWCF to its membership
- Assist CWCF Executive Director in promoting / administering CWCF's Co-op Development program and "Tenacity Works" Fund
- Plan and organize CWCF events
Required skill and knowledge set
- Strong writing and speaking ability
- Good people skills
- Project management skills, including the ability to manage events (such as Annual General Meetings), tele-learning sessions, and webinars
- Experience with development / implementation of communication strategies
- Familiarity with the co-operative model/ the co-operative movement and, ideally, worker co-operatives
- Computer skills: knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power point, Publisher, etc. (website development an asset)
- Experience with development of printed material, including brochures, annual reports, etc.
In addition to the required knowledge / skills, candidates with worker co-op development and financial management background will have increased capacity to contribute to this position and assume additional responsibilities. French / English bilingualism would be a strong asset.

Location
Calgary strongly preferred; other locations in Canada could be considered.
Hours
Full-time; however, flexibility exists to negotiate part-time work.
Salary
