For student and community cooperatives and other organizations that wish to participate in the NASCO cooperative movement.

Dues rate

Housing Co-ops

Joining Fee: $10 USD for every member. After joining, the co-op pays $37 USD per new member (i.e., someone who becomes a member of the co-op after the co-op is already a NASCO member).

Retail and worker co-ops

.03% of gross revenues.
(Minimum of $150 USD/CAD. Maximum of $1000 USD/CAD.)

  • Up to five hours of on-site training and consultation per year.
  • Up-to-date job notices of openings in US and Canadian cooperatives.
  • Two free copies of the NASCO's Guide to Co-ops.
  • Discounts on listings with the NASCO's Internship Network.
  • On-going networking with the cooperative movement.
  • Subscriptions to Co-op Voices (multiple copies of each issue to distribute to members).
  • Reduction of 30-40% in registration fees for the annual NASCO Institute.
  • Discounted rates to NASCO's Staff and Managers Conference.
  • Free postage on publications, promotional materials and gifts ordered from NASCO.
  • Telephone consultation and assistance.

If you're a new member and would prefer to pay online, please make a note when you mail your membership application and we'll email your inovice with a link to our online payment system.
