Video Intern

We are looking for an intern to assist with the production of a promotional video for an innovative social cause. Looking for a 30-50 hour commitment over the course of July and August, with most of those hours flexible.

 

You:

  • Possess an unwavering ‘can-do' attitude
  • Have some basic experience with shooting video and video transfer.
  • Are looking for experience in video production and/or working on an important social change campaign
  • Are responsible, hard-working, a strong communicator and possess a sense of humor
  • Own a Mac

We:

  • Are looking to improve the financial security of low-income families through an innovative, city-led initiative. And we are producing a short video to tell that story.
  • Are a combination of an independent consultant and a small innovative team within a City department. Most of the work will either happen on location or in your home, with occasional meetings at City Hall and an office downtown.
  • Will be producing this video by early September

Qualifications:

  • High level of proficiency with iMovie and/or Final Cut Pro. Has experience transferring video, and making basic edits
  • Experience shooting video with a basic video camera, recording onsite audio and lighting set-ups
  • Experience as a Production Assistant on a film shoot

Please note - this is an unpaid internship within a project with a very slim budget. We will be thrilled to provide you work experience, and the occasional meal when we work all day.
