NASCO is pleased to announce the beginning of a nomination process for seats on our Board of Directors. Elections are conducted annually by the NASCO Board of Directors for one third of its twelve three-year seats -- in 2012, the Board is filling two additional seats. We are excited to be seating six new Directors through the election process this spring.
NASCO member coops and individual members have the opportunity to nominate a candidate to fill one of the open seats on the Board of Directors, and to vote in the election. Please visit the nominations page to read more and download a nomination packet.
2012 Election Timeline
- March 20th: Nominations Due, Candidate Statements due
- March 27th: Ballots mailed to members
- April 24th: Ballots due from members
- April 30th: Results announced
- June 1st: New board member training
- June 2-3: Meeting of new Board
