The Institute is widely recognized as one of the most important training opportunities available to co-op members, directors, staff and managers. Held each fall in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the Institute attracts hundreds of cooperators from the U.S. and Canada for two and one half days of comprehensive technical programs and discussions.
NASCO's Cooperative Internship Network connects talented cooperators with opportunities at cooperative organizations and businesses across the U.S. and Canada. The Cooperative Internship Network provides organizations with qualified interns while building the skills and knowledge of a new generation of leaders. NASCO also hosts a job and internship board, where we post openings year-round.
NASCO offers anti-oppression focused programming at NASCO Institute, including a daylong intensive and a workshop track, at the Cooperative Education and Training Institute in November. NASCO annually sponsors a two-day conference for student co-op managers and staff, held every spring. This conference focuses on professional development and networking. Outside speakers and special sessions are scheduled.
