For 50 years, NASCO has been cultivating the leaders we want to see in our local communities and the world. We are committed to cooperative leadership development. As part of that commitment, we are raising money to grow the Jim Jones Fund* up from $29K to $50K by the end of the year.
Help us raise 50K for the next 50 years of cooperative leadership.
We are building a legacy fund for the next 50 years of emerging leaders. This fund will help us to…
Provide real-world opportunities to share back on skills refined in our cooperative internship network.
Expand opportunities for cooperative education and networking locally through regional gatherings.
Build institutional knowledge by supporting the publication of a book on the history of co-ops, written by Jim Jones himself.
As we deepen and expand NASCO’s work, we need your help. Will you make a donation today in support of NASCO programs?
Donations through the end of 2018 will be matched up to $6,000, thanks to a generous gift from a group of NASCO alumni and leaders.
The NASCO Team
*The Jim Jones Fund was established in 2009 to honor James R. Jones, a long-time NASCO member, educator, mentor, and cooperative developer, for his commitment to NASCO and cooperative development. The Fund’s purpose is to promote leadership in housing, worker, and all types of student cooperatives throughout North America by providing financial support to individuals seeking to attend or organize workshops, seminars, conferences, courses, institutes, and other cooperative leadership development opportunities.
