Rosewood Co-op New House Fundraiser

Hello!

 

We’re Rosewood Housing Coop! We are expanding our space to a 2nd house, and we need your help! 

We are a non-hierarchical, participatory democratic fair housing co-op founded on the principles of sustainability, creativity, and affordability. We have been given the incredible opportunity to grow our loving community by opening up a brand new housing cooperative.

Rosewood has saved enough money to secure a lease on our 2nd home in Central East Austin, Texas, but it will deplete our savings and leave our community in a risky position. We are asking for donations to help fund the upfront costs and to ensure financial security. 

Our housing cooperative values intentionality and equity above all, and any contributions made will help us to continue to resist oppressive capitalist housing systems and foster a culture of mutual aid and care within the greater community. In addition, any contributions made will help us reach our goal of eventual home ownership, supporting the stability of Rosewood Housing Cooperative, and securing 501(c)(3) non-profit status.
