Cooperative Internship Network

 

NASCO’s Cooperative Internship Network places talented cooperative individuals with co-ops and allied organizations. Our summer internship program provides a great opportunity to develop new skills, gain experience, and begin developing a career in the cooperative sector. Applying is free for individuals who have been a member of a NASCO co-op within the last three years or have attended NASCO Institute within the past five years. The application deadline is April 12, 2019.

AmeriCorps VISTA Opportunity

 

Are you involved with democracy, leadership training, strategic planning, facilitation, community organizing, co-op or economic development in Michigan? MSU Student Housing Cooperative is hosting an AmeriCorps VISTA. They are seeking an individual to join their team for a year to evaluate and build capacity in self-governance & board activities and planning to advance the cooperatives through democratic housing. Cooperative Management Education

 

The Sobey School of Business at Saint Mary’s University offers international management programs designed to provide the skills needed for exceptional cooperative management. Designed for professionals currently in a leadership position in a cooperative business, mutual or credit union, the programs are offered online and part-time. Students, faculty, and researchers are drawn from around the globe, and from a diverse range of co-operatives, enriching the learning community with their experience. WestCo 2019

 
WestCo is a regional conference for members of cooperatives in the Western United States and Canada. It is a space for local cooperators to build community, attend educational workshops and social events, and celebrate their common interests and experiences. This year, the conference will take place in Davis, CA from April 26-28. The conference is organized by members of Solar Community Housing Association.
