Brief Description of Organization:
Since 1971, ICC Austin, a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, has been providing affordable housing to students who would not otherwise be able to afford college. Over 6,000 students have come through our doors since we opened our first housing co-op. Beyond having an affordable place to live, students learn to cook together, clean together and participate in a real-life community. Our members often find the skills learned during their tenure at the co-ops form the basis for future personal success and effective citizenship.
