Three houses. Ten rooms. We provide low-cost housing for students and others. We are about 25% solar-powered. We operate two community gardens, at the community rec center, and at the social services food bank.
To provide low-cost housing for students and others. To welcome all members, regardless of race, gender, orientation, ethnicity, and marital status. To be radically inclusive by encouraging everyone to participate in decision-making. To make our houses energy-efficient. To reach out to our community with educational programs and workshops. To educate our members in cooperative democracy.
We are improving access. One house has a ramp, the newer houses do not yet have ramps.

We ask for voluntary participation in a work hours program - each hour of work for the co-op is worth $10 off your rent. Our maintenance coordinator uses the most work hours. In an average month our members perform around 25 work hours.
