The Board is looking for candidates who:
- Have experience related to cooperative development
- Are current members of NASCO Active Member cooperatives
- Are current staff of NASCO Active Member cooperatives
- Are members or staff of Canadian cooperatives
- Have skills in governance, fundraising, or secretarial skills
- Are people from marginalized backgrounds, including but not limited to, POC, Black people, folks with disabilities, working-class folks, LGBTQIA+ folks, non-citizens or undocumented folks, single parents, and women
- Display a firm commitment to antiracism and anti-oppression
