Duck Groves is a senior undergraduate at Indiana University studying Sustainable Food Systems & minoring in Gender Studies. This is their third year living in Bloomington Cooperative Living, and they hold the staffer position of Outreach Coordinator. This summer, they worked as a maintenance intern at Madison Community Cooperative in Madison, WI. They have worked on a permaculture farm and an organic farm in Bloomington, and they’re interested in shifting the food growing power dynamic away from the hands of the business owners and into the hands of the people.
